1. The Deejay Project - Calm Amongst The Storm (12" Vinyl Album)

90s rave is back and The Deejay Project are bringing it straight into 2026.

Built around the unmistakable sounds of the rave era, Deejay Projects deliver a high-energy modern take on 90s dance music, packed with euphoric piano riffs, squelching 303 acid lines, driving 4/4 grooves, breakbeats, rap verses and infectious vocals.

The project brings together Rab McLean, former founder of Ultimate Buzz, alongside Pete Whitson and vocalist Samantha Whitefield, combining genuine old-school rave pedigree with a contemporary production approach.

From euphoric piano-led moments to rolling acid, hard-hitting drums, breakbeat passages and vocal-driven rave anthems, the album channels the raw energy, optimism and nostalgia of the early-to-mid 90s while avoiding the feel of a simple retro recreation.

Think of it as the 90s rave album that never got made, rebuilt for today.

The Deejay Project capture the spirit of an era when pianos were huge, 303s were everywhere, MCs grabbed the mic and the only objective was to keep the dancefloor moving.

Pure 90s rave nostalgia. Modern production. No compromise.
